Basic knowledge about geophysical borehole logging is given to bring up the MSC students to one geophysical level. After that, the Identification and evaluation of exploration targets will be discussed. Also, sampling and drilling technologies as well as initial data processing are topics of the lecture.
In the second part, the cause and efficiency of geochemical barriers is one of the main topics. The mineral predictive mapping using AI methods will be bringed to the students as new and up-to-date geophysical technique. As ending of the course, the Lecturers will speak about the metallogeny of the Erzgebirge (E-Germany).
